The Plume Room - Vanilla Caramel Frappucino

The Plume Room - Vanilla Caramel Frappuccino

Vaped on Provari 3.0 Boge Carto/Phiniac Glass Tank @ 4.2 volts

Strength: 18mg

Steep Time: 72 hours

Throat Hit - mild

Vapor - lots

PG/VG - 70VG/30PG

Rating: 4/5

I'll be honest.  I'm not a fan of coffee, I'm a Diet Coke in the morning kind of gal.  I generally refer to coffee as burnt water.  That being said, coffee flavors were some of the first vapes I really liked.  Something about coffee seems to lend itself well to a vape for whatever reason.  Also, once in a while I do get a craving for a sweet and creamy coffee beverage.

My understanding from the Plume Room is that their juices require minimal steeping, so I went ahead and filled a carto with the Vanilla Caramel Frappucino after impatiently waiting a couple days.  Have you ever had Starbucks Caramel Frappucino with whipped cream and caramel drizzle?  This, to me, is a spot on rendition of that drink.

I think that this is a vape that you will either love or hate.  It's strong on the caramel/vanilla/cream flavor and much lighter on the coffee.  It's also one of the sweetest vapes I've tried to date.  However, if you are like me and prefer a little coffee with your cream, I think you'd find this to be a satisfying vape.

Mild throat hit (which is to be expected at 70/30 mix), but huge plumes of vape.  This one is a little rich for me for an all day vape, but definitely satifies the urge for a sweet treat, so I'll probably keep a bottle around for an occasional vape.

This is the first flavor I've tried from the Plume Room, and it's definitely high quality juice.  In addition, the Plume Room's packaging is gorgeous, this would be a lovely choice to send as a gift to a fellow vapor!

Vape Dudes - Pumpkin Pie

Vape Dudes - Pumpkin Pie

Vaped on Provari 3.8v Boge SR Carto/Phiniac Glass Tank

24mg - 70pg/30vg

Throat Hit: 5/5

Vapor: good

Rating: 5/5

This was the first flavor that I have tried from Vape Dudes. Let me start out by saying that I generally can not vape anything with cinnamon flavor in it, and that I hated clove cigarettes when I was a smoker. However, with the weather turning colder, I've been craving something a little bit heavier than my usual fruity vapes. Thanksgiving is behind us, and Christmas is right around the corner, which led me to craving for Pumpkin Pie.

My last attempt at a Pumpkin Pie vape was Copper Creek, which while very accurate, was a bit too subtle in flavor for me. Vape Dudes is a completely different vape. This vape is also very accurate to real pumpkin pie, I can taste the nutmeg, pumpkin, cardamon, clove, and maybe a hint of cinnamon. It's also got a nice whipped cream flavor on the exhale. However, this is not a juice for the timid. It's bold and spicy and very much an in your face flavor. At first I thought it might be a little strong for an all day vape, but I have found it hard to put down. If this flavor is any indication of what's to come from my Vape Dude juices, they may become a regular vendor for me.

If you are looking for a pumpkin pie vape that's heavy on the spice and like a strong flavor that has a throat hit that really packs a punch, give this a shot. I'm very happy I have 60ml of this, as I have a feeling it's going to be a frequent vape for me over the holidays.

Copper Creek - Pumpkin Pie

Copper Creek - Pumpkin Pie

Vaped on Provari, SR Boge Carto/Phiniac Tank, 5.2v

18mg - 50/50

Steep Time - one month +

Throat Hit: light

Vapor: good

Rating: 3/5

I really want to like Copper Creek juices more than I do. As a company, they are wonderful and have some of the best customer service around. Their flavors are loved by many and their House Blend was voted Best Juice of 2011. However, that being said, I've yet to actually love one of their juices.

My usual sweet spot for e-liquid is about 4.2 v. At 4.2 v on the Pumpkin Pie, I can barely taste anything. I went ahead and cranked it up to 5.2 and while the flavor is still very light, I feel like I can taste it. It's not an issue of steeping, I've steeped this juice well in excess of a month.

Very light on flavor and throat hit, it's not an unpleasant vape. I can definitely taste the Pumpkin, whipped cream, and a good deal of nutmeg. E-liquids with cinnamon generally irritate me, and I'm having no issues with this juice in that regard, if there is cinnamon, it's very light. What I can taste does taste spot on to real homemade Pumpkin Pie, I just can't taste enough of it.

I may see about extra flavoring for this and giving it another shot, as fall is here and Pumpkin Pie seems quite appealing at the moment. I just prefer something with more of a punch to it.

If you like a milder flavored vape and you are a fan of pumpkin pie it's worth giving it a shot, it's just not for me.

Alice in Vapeland - Twas Brillig

Alice in Vapeland - Twas Brillig

Vaped on Provari 4.2v Boge SR Carto/Phiniac Glass Tank

24mg - ? mix

Steep Time - 3 days

Throat Hit: 3/5

Vapor: good

Rating: 5/5

I had been reading many good things about Alice and Vapeland and wanted to give them a try. My only concern was that they were often described as "subtle" flavors, and I generally like flavors that pack a punch. I pulled the trigger and picked up a few flavors and have been waiting impatiently for them to steep.

My fears of too little flavor went out the window the second I tasted Twas Brillig. You might as well call this one Twas Brilliant. I just tried it tonight, and I've already placed another order for a bigger bottle!

This flavor is superb. It tastes just like my Mom's blackberry cobbler. True blackberry (not candyish) flavor and hints of cream and buttery cobbler. This stuff is really amazing. It's the perfect balance of sweetness, not too much or too little. It has a decent throat hit, though not overpoweringly so. I tried it at various voltages, and found for me it's most flavorful between about 3.7 - 4.2.

I've been vaping this one pretty much non-stop since I opened the bottle, it's definitely going into my daily rotation.

I highly recommend this flavor, it's delicate, but complex, a truly unique juice.

Vape Dudes - Banana Cream Pie

Vape Dudes - Banana Cream Pie

Vaped on Provari with SR Boge Carto/Phiniac Glass Tank @ 5.0 volts

Strength: 24mg

Steep Time: 1 week

Throat Hit - Packs a punch

Vapor - lots

PG/VG - 70PG/30VG

Rating: 5/5

I'm a sucker for dessert and fruity vapes.  Combine them together well and it's generally a winner for me.  Vape Dudes does just that with Banana Cream Pie.  The banana flavor is somewhere between a fresh ripe banana and a taffy type banana, but it really works well with this flavor.  Banana is definitely the predominant flavor, but there is a nice cream finish with just a hint of graham cracker crust.  Not overpoweringly sweet, but right where it should be to make for a spot-on rendition of banana cream pie.  I tried this one at voltages from about 3.8 - 5.5 and found my sweet spot to be right around 5.0 on a SR Boge carto.  This went straight into a tank based on smell alone.  Nice clouds of vapor and a surprisingly good throat kick.

This one may be a bit heavy for an all day vape, but it's by far the best banana dessert vape I've tried to date.  I'd recommend this flavor to any banana cream pie fans - all the taste with none of the calories.  Perfection!
